What are TECHNALOCK® plates made of? 
Our plates are made from a polycarbonate material-the same as that used in making bulletproof glass. These unique plates,   combined with Loctite® 454 are the secret to TECHNALOCK's success. This advanced adhesive technology tightly bonds mounting plates to your equipment.

What are the dimensions of your mounting plates?
TECHNALOCK® plates are 2 x 3 inches.

Are smaller mounting plates available?
Smaller mounting plates are offered in our AV-Safe™ kits. The dimensions of these oval shaped plates are 1 ¾ x 1.

Cables

How strong are your cables?
Our cables are steel, aircraft cable, tested to specified levels of performance and conform to applicable military and ISO standards. They are also coated in vinyl to protect equipment.

What cable length should I order?
Our most popular lengths of cable are 3 foot and 6 foot. These two lengths accommodate most setups. Other lengths of cable are also available for special, unique applications. These range from 1 foot to 10 foot.

Locks

What types of locks do you have to choose from?
Our locks are available in keyed-alike (all keys the same), keyed-different (all keys different) and Combination (3 digit, resettable). We also offer MasterLock® brand locks when requested and keyed-different locks with master keys.

Can my keys be matched on future orders?
YES! Keyed-alike locks can be matched on future orders. Customer Service will record your key for you so that it can be reordered and you can avoid numerous sets of keys.

Adhesive

How strong is the adhesive?
We proudly include Loctite® 454 in all of our kits that come with mounting plates. Loctite® is an industrial, commercial grade adhesive. This formula is especially compatible with our TECHNALOCK® mounting plates, and together create a remarkable, secure bond that can withstand over 2000 lbs of pulling strength.

How easy is Loctite® to use?
Loctite®, while a incredibly strong adhesive, is very easy use. Its gel consistency allows for precise application because it does not run-even on vertical surfaces.
